Mitten Tree

Mittens! Gloves! Hats! Scarves! Socks! Oh my!!! With your generous help (you know who you are) we made 300+ bags of at least 2 cozy items each to warm the hearts and the bodies of the children of our community. Huge shout out to the generous (and talented) residents of Charlestown Senior Living Community for their contribution as well! THANK YOU!! God is Good!!!

Today we relight the candles of hope, peace and joy. remembering how God has spoken to us and made a difference in our lives. This week, we come to the candle of love. The flame reminds us that love is our greatest commandment. Love illuminates hatred and fills a compassionate heart.

Today we relight the candles of hope and peace remembering how God has spoken to us and made a difference in our lives. Now we come to the candle of JOY, despite all of the celebrations, hugs and moments we have missed for God’s joy ignites embers under loss and sorrow and brings the light of steadfast love.
