Today we relight the candle of hope, remembering how God has spoken to us and made a difference in our lives.Now we light the candle of PEACE in spite of anger, violence, social unrest, depression, additions and pandemic conditions. God’s peace illuminates the possibility of healing and joy.

The first Sunday of Advent: HOPE! Today the flame of this candle reminds us of the true HOPE that came to this world when God chose to be with us and Jesus was born. This light of God-With-Us shines and brightens the shadows of the world.
