All are invited to join Pastor Dane along with other local pastors to celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection. The service will take place at sunrise at Loudon Park Cemetery located at 3620 Wilkens Avenue. Reception with refreshments to follow
For Christians, the reason for timing a service to coincide with the rising of the sun is simple: It was dawn when the first believers — in every gospel account, women — went to the tomb of Jesus, found the rock rolled away from the entrance and the body of Jesus gone. So, it makes sense that this earth-shaking event would be celebrated as the sun comes up.
